Fallen Limb and Brush Haul-Off in Spring, TX
Big pines and oaks shed limbs in every strong wind. This is the haul-off part only: picking up limbs and brush that are already down and taking them away.
Haul-Off Only
Where this job stops
Cutting, felling or trimming a tree is tree service work, and this site does not cover it. Neither does anything touching a power line, which is the utility's call. The crew picks up limbs and brush lying on the ground, loads them and hauls them away.
If the tree company already cut the wood but left it, that is exactly this job.
Why Spring Yards Collect So Much
Spring's established neighborhoods were built under tall pines and oaks. Northampton's own history describes towering pine and oak trees; Champion Forest has been an official bird sanctuary since 1980. Those canopies are why the streets look the way they do, and why a single windy afternoon can leave a lawn covered.
Pine limbs are long and light; oak limbs are short and heavy. A mixed pile loads slowly, and it is worth saying which you have.

Curb Limits Versus a Haul
Harris County MUD 383 takes limbs curbside only tied and bundled, up to 4 feet long, 4 inches across and 40 pounds, five bundles a day. Cypress Forest PUD, which serves Champion Forest, posts a similar 4-inch, 4-foot limit. Harris County Precinct 4's homeowner dumpsters take limbs under 6 inches across and 6 feet long.
Anything bigger, or more than a few bundles, is where a haul comes in.

Limb and Brush Questions
Will the crew cut up a limb that is still attached?
No. Anything still in the tree, hung up in another tree, or lying on a roof or power line is tree service or utility work. This service picks up what is already on the ground.
How big can the pieces be?
That depends on the contractor's equipment. For curbside, Harris County MUD 383 asks for bundles no longer than 4 feet, no thicker than 4 inches and no heavier than 40 pounds.
What about the stump?
Stump grinding is a tree service job, not hauling.
Pick Up What Came Down
