Junk Removal in Champion Forest, Spring
Founded in 1976 in the woods between Louetta Road and Cypresswood Drive, and an official bird sanctuary since 1980. The trees are the point of the place, and they shape what needs hauling.
Background
The Champion Forest HOA's history says the community began in 1976, when Don Hand of Greenwood Properties started developing about 900 acres around Champion Drive, north of Cypresswood Drive and south of Louetta Road. It has been an official bird sanctuary since 1980. Water, sewer and trash come from Cypress Forest PUD, created in 1971.

What the Trash Service Takes
Champion Forest's trash page lists Best Trash, through Cypress Forest PUD, collecting Tuesday and Friday by 7 a.m. Smaller bulk items up to 40 pounds go curbside on collection days. Construction debris is not accepted. For large items, the page says to call for special collection pricing. Branches go out no more than 4 inches across and 4 feet long.
Cypress Creek Is Close
Community Impact named Champion Forest among the Spring and Klein areas hardest hit by Cypress Creek flooding, where more than 8,700 homes flooded in Harvey and another 1,700 in the 2016 Tax Day flood.

What That Adds Up To
A 40-pound bulk limit leaves out most furniture and every appliance, so anything heavier than a chair is either a special-pricing call to the district's hauler or a private haul. Tall trees mean limbs past the 4-by-4 limit after storms. And houses from the late 1970s mean full attics and, increasingly, estates.
