Spring Junk Removal Pros FAQ
Short answers about how the referral works, what goes on the truck and what does not, and where hauling ends.
Questions and Answers
Is Spring Junk Removal Pros a hauling company?
No. It is a referral line. Requests go to an independent junk removal or cleanout contractor serving Spring, who quotes and does the work.
How is the price set?
By the contractor, usually from the volume of the load, the heaviest items, access and disposal. This site publishes no prices.
Does Texas license junk haulers?
No. There is no Texas state license for junk removal. Ask about insurance and where the load goes.
Why does this site talk about an order?
Because clearing a whole property goes faster in sequence: garage, attic, shed and yard, the house, then the storm pile. Each stop makes room for the next. See the cleanout order.
What will not go on the truck?
Paint, chemicals, pool products, automotive fluids, aerosols, batteries and propane cylinders. Harris County's household hazardous waste facility at 6900 Hahl Road takes them by appointment from residents outside the City of Houston, which includes unincorporated Spring, at no charge.
Can old TVs and computers go in the load?
Ask the contractor. Texas law requires TV and computer makers to offer consumer recycling; TCEQ points to TexasRecyclesComputers.org for free computer recycling. The county HHW facility does not take electronics.
What about refrigerators and freezers?
Federal rules require refrigerant to be recovered before an appliance is scrapped or landfilled, with a signed statement naming who recovered it and when. A contractor should be able to say how they handle that.
My MUD's trash service takes bulk items. Why call a hauler?
For what the district's limits do not cover. Harris County MUD 383, for example, caps bulk items at two per day and excludes construction debris. Your district posts its own rules.
Will the county pick up storm debris?
After Beryl in July 2024, Harris County ran curbside passes and opened drop-off sites. Rules are set for each storm; a hauler is for what the county will not take or cannot reach in time.
Does this cover tree cutting or stump grinding?
No. Those are tree service. The storm stop covers limbs and brush already on the ground.
Is wet carpet removal the same as mold remediation?
No. Hauling wet carpet away is hauling. In Texas, remediation of mold covering 25 contiguous square feet or more requires a licensed contractor.
Who handles hoarding situations?
A crew can remove belongings and trash the resident has agreed can go. Remediation, legal questions and mental-health support are for other professionals; see hoarding cleanup.
Is there an email address?
No. Use the form or call. The form sends you a confirmation by email.
Still Not Sure Which Stop?
Call and describe it. The request goes to an independent Spring-area contractor.
