Construction Debris Removal in Spring, TX

Remodel leftovers are the pile the curbside truck drives past. They come out during stop four, usually alongside the flooring and the kitchen that got replaced.

The rules

What Curbside Will Not Take

Harris County MUD 383's posted rules exclude construction debris, dirt, rocks, bricks, tile and concrete. The Champion Forest trash page says construction debris is not accepted for collection. Harris County Precinct 4's homeowner dumpsters exclude roofing, shingles, sheetrock, carpet, siding, laminate flooring, toilets, tubs, concrete and brick.

Put those together and a bathroom or kitchen tear-out in Spring usually has one way out: a hauler or a roll-off container.

FAQ

Construction Debris Questions

Why will my trash service not take remodel debris?

Construction debris is excluded by most Spring-area districts' curbside service. Harris County MUD 383 lists construction debris, dirt, rocks, bricks, tile and concrete as excluded; Champion Forest's hauler says construction debris is not accepted.

Is concrete included?

Concrete, brick and dirt are very heavy and some haulers price them separately or do not take them. Say so if your pile includes them.

My contractor left a pile. Is that normal?

Some remodel bids include debris haul-off and some do not. Check your contract before paying for a separate haul.

Clear the Remodel Pile

Describe what is in the pile and whether it includes concrete, brick or tile. An independent Spring-area contractor quotes the haul.
